Salary: 90,000 – 100,000 PHP
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer for our French client, who specializes in producing various types of glasses and collaborating with opticians. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life by improving the quality of vision.
Responsibilities
- As DevOps Engineer you will be designing, maintaining, and evolving architectures and automation to ensure zero-downtime deployments, optimizing system availability and reliability;
- You will be working with Docker and Kubernetes to scale and monitor microservices, ensuring efficient resource utilization and seamless application performance;
- You will be designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, streamlining the software development and deployment process;
- You will be using tools like Helm and GitLab CI to automate deployments, reducing manual effort and enhancing deployment efficiency;
- You will be collaborating with development teams to set up automation pipelines and resolve technical challenges, fostering a collaborative and solutions-focused environment;
- You will be managing complex and distributed enterprise systems based on HCL 9.1, installed in cloud Kubernetes clusters, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and operational;
- You will be ensuring seamless integration and operation of these systems within the cloud environment, aligning them with organizational objectives;
- You will be collaborating with other DevOps engineers, contributing ideas and expertise to develop the best possible solutions;
- You will be participating in an on-call schedule and providing server/technical support to the team, ensuring rapid issue resolution and minimal downtime.
Requirement
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm charts, Docker, and YAML configurations, demonstrating proficiency in container orchestration and configuration management;
- Ability to work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) – Necessary condition;
- Proven experience in CI/CD pipeline development and management using Jenkins, ensuring efficient build, test, and deployment processes;
- Strong knowledge of cloud services and network configuration, enabling secure and optimized cloud infrastructure management;
- Proficiency in relational database management, supporting data integrity and efficient query performance;
- Experience with Unix systems, including shell scripting and working with make files, enhancing automation and operational efficiency;
- Experience with Application Performance Monitoring tools, such as New Relic and Dynatrace, for monitoring application health and performance;
- Knowledge of logging aggregators, like ELK or Splunk, to centralize and analyze log data effectively.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with HCL 9.1 and its integration within cloud Kubernetes environments, adding value to enterprise-level system management;
- Advanced degrees or relevant certifications, such as Kubernetes (CKA), Docker, Jenkins, or Oracle Database, demonstrating formal expertise and skill recognition.

- Salary for work amounting to 90,000 – 100,000 PHP;
