We are looking for a Data Engineer for our international client, who specializes in providing household cleaning products. The person would work on one of our client projects.
Responsibilities
- As a Data Engineer you will be developing and implementing robust data collection processes;
- You will be integrating data from multiple structured and unstructured sources;
- You will be ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency in data ingestion pipelines;
- You will be creating and deploying optimized data storage solutions;
- You will be utilizing cloud-based data warehouses and databases;
- You will be ensuring performance, cost efficiency, and scalability to support business analytics needs;
- You will be developing and managing ETL pipelines, automating data ingestion, processing, and transformation workflows for seamless data availability;
- You will be collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to design and maintain scalable data models, enabling efficient querying and data retrieval;
- You will be implementing data quality checks, enforcing governance policies and access controls, ensuring that data remains accurate, consistent, and secure;
- You will be implementing industry-standard data security measures, including data encryption, masking, and access control mechanisms;
- You will be ensuring compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and other data privacy regulations;
- You will be designing and deploying data backup and disaster recovery solutions;
- You will be ensuring that critical business data remains available and protected in case of failures.
Requirement
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with hands-on expertise in data pipeline development, database optimization, and cloud-based data platforms;
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, data warehouses, data governance, and business analysis, particularly with Azure cloud services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics;
- Ability to recognize, diagnose, and troubleshoot incidents and problems reported by customers, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business impact;
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including JIRA and Azure DevOps, enabling efficient backlog management, sprint planning, and collaborative development workflows;
- Strong SQL Server database knowledge, including expertise in stored procedures, SQL scripting, and T-SQL programming, for database performance tuning and query optimization;
- Proficiency in Power BI, with the ability to create interactive dashboards, perform data visualizations, and develop business intelligence reports;
- Experience in maintaining system documentation, contributing to knowledge bases and creating work instructions to ensure efficient issue resolution and process standardization;
- Experience with data orchestration tools, ensuring that data pipelines are efficiently scheduled, monitored, and optimized for performance;
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, providing clear insights into problem resolutions, documenting solutions, and ensuring a smooth user experience;
- Experience in developing, testing, and implementing bug fixes and minor enhancements, ensuring continuous system improvements and stability;
- Proficiency in problem management and incident coordination, ensuring that recurring issues are addressed through root cause analysis and long-term solutions.

- Salary for work amounting to 110,000 – 135,000 PHP;
- ₱3,600 de minimis monthly non-taxable allowance;
