Jira Administrator

Salary: 40,000 – 50,000 PHP

We are looking for a Jira Administrator for our French client, who specializes in producing various types of glasses and collaborating with opticians. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life by improving the quality of vision.

Responsibilities

  • As a Jira Administrator you will be familiarizing yourself with the Jira layout and managing users’ default settings to ensure an optimal and user-friendly setup for all team members; 
  • You will be utilizing Jira tools to efficiently manage user accounts and permissions, making sure that each user has the appropriate level of access according to their role;  
  • You will be addressing and resolving inquiries related to group management, ensuring that users are correctly assigned to groups for streamlined project collaboration;  
  • You will be integrating external user directories with Jira, facilitating secure and consistent user access across platforms and improving system coherence;  
  • You will be developing a strong understanding of workflows and project configurations, which allows you to tailor Jira to meet the specific needs of different teams;  
  • You will be configuring existing projects and converting them to different project types as needed, adapting to project requirements and ensuring that teams have the necessary tools and settings. 

Requirement

  • 2+ years of experience as a Jira Administrator, with a proven track record of managing and supporting Jira environments effectively; 
  • Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) – Necessary condition; 
  • Expertise in configuring and managing Jira projects, workflows, and permissions, ensuring efficient and structured project management for various teams; 
  • Proficiency in handling user directories, permissions, roles, and group administration within Jira, enabling secure and organized access across projects;  
  • Strong understanding of custom workflows, transitions, and automation within Jira, allowing you to enhance productivity and streamline processes;  
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving Jira-related issues promptly and effectively, ensuring smooth operation and minimizing disruptions; 
  • Strong skills in documenting configurations, preparing reports, and providing end-user support and training, helping teams get the most out of Jira tools and functionalities;  
  • Ability to collaborate and work closely with others, fostering a productive and cooperative work environment. 

Nice to have

  • Jira Administrator Certification or other relevant Atlassian certifications, demonstrating formal expertise and specialized skills in Jira management. 

We Offer

  • Salary for work amounting to 40,000 – 50,000 PHP;
