We are looking for a Junior Java Developer for our French client, who specializes in producing various types of glasses and collaborating with opticians. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life by improving the quality of vision.
Responsibilities
- As a Junior Java Developer, you will be assisting in writing, testing, and debugging simple code, following provided specifications and best practices;
- You will be performing unit testing on basic components, identifying potential issues, and reporting findings to senior developers for review;
- You will be documenting code logic, test results, and technical updates, ensuring clarity and maintainability for future development;
- You will be supporting the implementation of small tasks within larger software projects, contributing to the overall development lifecycle;
- You will be collaborating with the development team, identifying and resolving minor software issues to improve code functionality;
- You will be participating in training sessions and technical discussions, continuously improving your programming knowledge and staying updated on best practices.
Requirement
- Any experience in programming or software development, including internships, academic projects, or personal coding initiatives;
- Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) – Necessary condition;
- Basic knowledge of programming languages, particularly Java, with experience in .NET also being acceptable;
- Understanding of version control systems, such as Git, ensuring proper code collaboration and management;
- Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail, enabling the ability to troubleshoot and resolve coding issues effectively;
- Willingness to learn and adopt coding best practices, continuously improving coding standards and software development methodologies;
- Good communication and teamwork skills, fostering effective collaboration with other developers and project stakeholders.
We Offer
- Salary for work amounting to 25,000 – 35,000 PHP;
- Monthly transportation allowance of ₱4,000;
