Network Manager

Salary: 80,000 – 90,000 PHP

We are looking for a Network Manager for our French client, who specializes in producing various types of glasses and collaborating with opticians. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life by improving the quality of vision.

Responsibilities

  • As a Network Manager, you will be ensuring that the network’s capacity and performance meet the business needs while maintaining the highest security standards; 
  • You will be leading the implementation, administration, and management of corporate network and communication solutions, ensuring operational excellence; 
  • You will be supervising and coordinating a team of network administrators, working globally and collaborating closely with the Center of Excellence; 
  • You will be developing and updating the Network and Communication catalog of services, ensuring that services align with the zone’s expectations and include relevant SLAs and pricing structures;  
  • You will be acting as the point of contact for managing network infrastructure tasks, such as ordering new network links, decommissioning old ones, and verifying billings. This includes rigorous management and follow-up, with monthly reports to management; 
  • You will be ensuring the operability of network solutions, proactively monitoring and addressing any issues to maintain service quality; 
  • You will be maintaining appropriate documentation, including detailed procedures and Standard Operating Procedures, to ensure smooth operations for the network administrators and other departments; 
  • You will be managing the department’s budget and participating in the financial management of the ISS Asia department, actively seeking opportunities for cost optimization; 
  • You will be involved in vendor and contract management, ensuring that relationships and agreements with service providers are well-managed and cost-effective; 
  • You will be providing dashboards and key performance metrics to monitor and track network activities, offering clear visibility into network operations; 
  • You will be reporting on network activity and project progress to management, ensuring that stakeholders are informed of developments and any potential issues. 

Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience with IT Infrastructure delivery, demonstrating a deep understanding of designing, implementing, and managing IT infrastructure across various environments; 
  • 3+ years of experience in team supervision, showcasing your ability to lead, mentor, and manage technical teams effectively; 
  • Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) – Necessary condition; 
  • Strong experience with LAN/WAN/VLAN/WLAN management and troubleshooting, ensuring reliable and optimized network operations across multiple locations; 
  • Experience with network hardware, including switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers, with the ability to manage and configure network devices; 
  • Experience with protocols such as BGP, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, and IPsec, ensuring expertise in routing, switching, and secure network communication; 
  • Knowledge of Quality of Service mechanics, for prioritizing and optimizing network traffic to ensure service quality; 
  • Experience with security administration using Palo Alto Networks, managing firewalls, security policies, and ensuring network security; 
  • Experience with WAN compression and optimization appliances such as Riverbed, enhancing the efficiency of wide-area network traffic; 
  • Familiarity with Cisco network products, demonstrating the ability to work with and configure a wide range of Cisco technologies; 
  • Experience in Shared Services environment or in a multi national organization.

  • Salary for work amounting to 80,000 – 90,000 PHP;
