Salary: 60,000 – 70,000 PHP
We are looking for a PL/SQL Developer for our client from the Philippines, who specializes in developing and implementing systems and applications to increase operational efficiency. They create an environment by providing responsive IT services, solutions, and innovations that positively impact the lives of companies.
Responsibilities
- As PL/SQL Developer you will be developing and maintaining PL/SQL code and applications to support business requirements;
- You will be optimizing and tuning SQL queries and PL/SQL code for performance and scalability;
- You will be debugging and troubleshooting issues related to database performance, data integrity, and application functionality;
- You will be designing and implementing database schemas, tables, indexes, and views to support application requirements;
- You will be utilizing Oracle Scheduler for job scheduling and automation tasks;
- You will be performing Oracle Database Administration tasks, including backup and recovery, user management, and database performance tuning;
- You will be developing and maintaining applications using Oracle APEX, Oracle Forms, and Reports;
- You will be integrating data from various sources and formats using Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher;
- You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions;
- You will be staying updated on emerging technologies and trends in database development and administration.
Requirements
- 3+ year experience as Database Administrator;
- Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL, with a solid understanding of best practices and optimization techniques;
- Extensive experience in Oracle Database Administration tasks, including backup and recovery, performance tuning, and user management;
- Proficiency in scripting languages, including JavaScript, Bash Shell, and Batch scripting;
- Working knowledge of MongoDB NoSQL, PostgreSQL, and MSSQL databases;
- Familiarity with Oracle APEX for application development and with Oracle Forms and Reports for maintaining legacy systems;
- Knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher for generating reports and visualizing data;
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite integration and customization.
