We are looking for a Power BI Developer for our French client, who specializes in producing various types of glasses and collaborating with opticians. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life by improving the quality of vision.
Responsibilities
- As a Power BI Developer, you will be translating business needs into technical specifications, ensuring that the BI solutions align with the organization’s goals and user requirements;
- You will be designing, building, and deploying Business Intelligence solutions, including the creation of dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that enable informed decision-making;
- You will be maintaining and supporting data analytics platforms, ensuring their performance, scalability, and accuracy;
- You will be creating tools to store data, developing systems that manage data efficiently, ensuring data integrity and accessibility;
- You will be conducting unit testing and troubleshooting, identifying issues and providing timely solutions to ensure the stability and accuracy of BI tools;
- You will be evaluating and improving existing BI systems, ensuring they meet evolving business needs and are optimized for performance and usability;
- You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate BI systems with other platforms, ensuring seamless data flow across the organization;
- You will be developing and executing database queries, conducting analyses to support business decision-making and uncover insights from the data;
- You will be creating visualizations and reports for specific projects, tailoring your outputs to meet the needs of different stakeholders and business objectives;
- You will be developing and updating technical documentation, ensuring that all processes, tools, and systems are well-documented for future reference and support.
Requirement
- 5+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer, with a proven track record of developing, deploying, and maintaining effective BI solutions tailored to business needs;
- Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) – Necessary condition;
- Knowledge of SQL queries, SSRS, and SSIS, demonstrating your ability to create and optimize database queries, reports, and ETL processes to support BI solutions;
- Familiarity with BI technologies, including Microsoft Power BI and Oracle BI, ensuring you can navigate and leverage various BI platforms to meet business objectives;
- Experience with SAP BusinessObjects, demonstrating proficiency with this platform to generate, manage, and interpret data reports that guide business decisions;
- Experience with Azure Databricks, equipping you with tools to process and analyze large data sets effectively within a cloud environment;
- In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing, and ETL frameworks, enabling you to build efficient, scalable BI systems and perform data transformation processes;
- Background in data warehouse design and data mining, with the ability to structure large datasets and extract meaningful insights for decision-making;
- Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative, consistently looking for ways to improve BI systems and business processes through creative problem-solving;
- Analytical mindset with a strong problem-solving aptitude, ensuring that you can tackle complex data challenges and deliver clear, actionable insights;
- Ability to handle user support, ensuring that existing BI tools and reports meet user specifications and providing troubleshooting assistance when necessary;
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment, fostering productive working relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with Python, adding versatility to your skill set for data manipulation and automation within BI solutions.

- Salary for work amounting to 80,000 – 90,000 PHP;
