Senior Accountant

Country: Philippines | Work Location: Alabang, Muntinlupa

Salary: 40,000 – 48,000 PHP

We are looking for a Senior Accountant for our French client, who specializes in producing various types of glasses and collaborating with opticians. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life by improving the quality of vision.

Responsibilities

  • As Senior Accountant you will be preparing of monthly financial statements and supplementary schedules for assigned Business Units; 
  • You will be coordinating the monthly results with the assigned Business Unit;  
  • You will be reviewing accounting transactions and recommend procedural and systems improvements for improved efficiency; 
  • You will be maintaining of fixed assets books, including tax books; 
  • You will be attending to regular reports that will support FSSC and BU Finance;  
  • You will be ensuring that the reconciling items in the bank reconciliation are monitored and followed up; 
  • You will be reconciling and checking Intercompany Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable on a monthly basis; 
  • You will be implementing and supporting new procedures, Management of Change (MOC) and improvements whenever required; 
  • You will be supervising Junior Accountant administratively (assign and delegate tasks/activities); 
  • You will be determining developmental training plans of the Junior Accountant; 
  • You will be driving conflict resolution of the personnel; 
  • You will be implementing all Safety Policies and Safety Measures as mandated by EH&S and involvement on the generation of action plans to all Safety audit findings; 
  • You will be acting as emergency response Incident Commander as required per EH&S mandate. 

Requirement

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with audit or financial accounting-related work experience; 
  • Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) – Necessary condition; 
  • Average computer literacy especially in the use of excel applications, has experience working on comprehensive ERP system; 
  • Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills; 
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitasking person; 
  • Experience in using ERP systems preferably in Microsoft Dynamics; 
  • CPA accreditation, demonstrating your qualifications in accounting and auditing standards; 
  • Experience in Shared Services environment or in a multi national organization.

  • Salary for work amounting to 40,000 – 48,000 PHP;

  • ₱3,600 de minimis monthly non-taxable allowance;
